Material

Sheared beaver fur is dense, silky-soft underfur, sheared to an optimal height. It is winter-quality, breathable, and odour resistant, composed of 10,000 fur filaments per square inch. This insulation layer is what enables beavers to keep warm while going in and out of freezing water in Northern Canada. 

Usage

The ultra warmers fit on top of your feet and wrap around your toes. Place the fur side next to your skin on TOP of your toes inside snug-fitting socks.  Socks with a wool blend work well as they have both stretch and something for the leather side to grip. The extra length is there to fold the top of the warmer over and under your toes.  

A couple of tips are to place the warmer, fur to skin, half on top of your toes and half under your foot (over the top). Inch your snug-fitting sock, starting with the toes (your sock will be bunched up in your hand as you slowly cover your foot). Once you have your sock up past the end of the warmer and the toe section is snug, then you pull on the warmer so the top of the warmer is around your toes. Then step on the floor with your toes to hold it in place, slowly pulling your socks up fully. Use your fingers to position them comfortably.

Your body heat is stored within the fur and circulated back to your feet. This passive warming system does an incredible job of holding a comfortable temperature and will keep you warm but not too hot.

Sizing 

Small: 3.5 X 7.5 inches. Fits up to women's shoe size 8, men's 6.5
Large: 4 X 8.25  inches. Fits up to women's shoe size 14.5, men's 13

Thickness refers to the denseness of fur and leather. We offer the following choices based on the amount of room in your footwear:

Regular: Only needs a little extra room in your footwear to fit comfortably.

Thick: The ultimate in warmth.  They take a little more room in your footwear than Regular.  Slippers, winter boots, and hikers fit the bill.

Care

Remove your Foot Warmers from your socks after each use and lie flat. Shake and give a little rub to fluff up.

If the fur gets damp, shake out the excess moisture, gently reshape the leather, and leave out to air dry on a flat surface. Avoid getting wet and prevent contact with direct heat and lotions, perfumes, etc. 

Sunlight is a natural deodorizer, occasional short exposures (1–3 hours) in morning or late afternoon sun is safe for deodorizing.
